The Sparkleaf Disaster scale is an arbitrary system used to categorize various negative circumstances, sometimes tangentially related to Sparkleaf. The rating scale presumably starts at Level 1, and though the maximum level is unknown, waking up to a moderate ant infestation is at least Level 10. The scale was first invoked when Sparkleaf discovered his floor covered in ants one morning. It is unknown whether hearts on a stream post are offering support in response to a Sparkleaf disaster or just pure schadenfreude, but the general consensus seems to be the former.
